Description:
Florence is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, visited by millions every year. This is a different way of enjoying the Florentine streets when still empty. Enjoy the famous highlights but also the less known stories and areas.
We will start our tour with a delicious coffee and pastry in a local historic bar. Continuing through the medieval section of the city, we reach Piazza della Signoria which is dominated by the imposing Palazzo Vecchio, and here we find some of Italy’s finest Renaissance sculptures…. The Perseus , the Rape of the Sabine, the Neptune fountain, the equestrian statue of Cosimo I Medici. We can proudly call this square an outstanding open air museum.
A short walk away is the Ponte Vecchio, with its quaint jewelry shops and breathtaking views.
From there, we go on to the Religious center the Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore to see its crowning glory Brunelleschi’s dome, Giotto’s bell tower and the Baptistery of San Giovanni all from the outside.
